About Shawn E. Caton, AIA
Shawn is a native of Pleasant Hill MO, and graduated from the Kansas State University School of Architecture. He has been a registered Architect since 2001. He has served as an adjunct professor of Software and Design Media at the Art Institutes International-Kansas City. With a natural affinity of the outdoors, he enjoys being as widely traveled as he can be. He enjoys traveling in Latin America, including Costa Rica and Mexico, and on mission trips to Guatemala and especially Ecuador.
Caton Architectural Design was started in 2018 by Shawn Caton, AIA, who is a licensed Architect in 13 states, a 4th generation in the architectural design industry in Kansas City metropolitan area, and the 1st to become licensed and practice in both residential and commercial. The company is based out of Kansas City, Missouri, but the company completes projects all across the United States and in Mexico.
